Cyclone Center Talk
I'm feeling cold (and wet) just looking at this! *turns up heat
Biggest eye I've ever seen!
You can see how huge the eye got later on! ACC0004h96
Thanks for being here, @WailingWolf --! 😃
Textbook storm!
Oh, man, at first I thought you were saying you classified 15,000 images and they were ALL no-storm. 😃
It's appreciated, @Sariemarais -- ! Don't forget, it's already been proven that people's best guesses give good data. 😉
Fierce little guy of a storm!
So what on EARTH would we call this mess? 😃
Is that a 6.0 by diving scores? As in, perfect? 😄
You got me. It looks like, looking at the storm, this is the tail end of a storm that did form a nice eye... (This is from Page 13.)
Bad day on Kauai. ;_;
Hah, look at that! It is! #dailyzoo
A Cyclone Center twin for this Sunspotter image!! http://talk.sunspotter.org/#/subjects/ASZ0000xvk
@cch001 I stand corrected on my incorrect guess. 😃 Annotate how, exactly?
#curved-band -- I'd say, anyway. Scientists/mods?
Holy cow.
Looking at the history of this storm, it looks like it never does quite form an eye?
Sure. Half of zero is still zero. 😃
I want to use that as a publicity quote for Cyclone Center! 😃
Interesting note, it looks like this is the very first image we have on-record from this storm.
Aw, whose a good little storm? WHO'S A GOOD LITTLE STORM? YES YOU ARE!!
Nah, it's just the coldest, weirdest storm in history! 😄
Cool!! Thank you!!
I'll make you a special little badge with a crummy paint tool if you want. It can say "LORD OF CYCLONE CENTER." 😃
So this is a very small, compact storm?
Yes, @volunteerguy , super cool!!
I'd say curved band, although looking at Trudy, it eventually becomes a very clear eye storm...
Really? Even though other storms have much more of the white clouds? What indicates this one as so particularly strong, out of curiosity?
I can imagine that if anyone's shorts were caught up in that storm, they would certainly be "eaten" in some way!
I'm going to flag this for the #dailyzoo.
Thanks, @cch001... I've sent that info to Grant, who does Daily Zoo. We'll get this image up there!
in fact, let's call this a good #dailyzoo candidate
wow, that's the biggest sheer pocket of #white #cold I've seen yet
