  I agree bretarn, really interesting picture. Maybe we have an #eye in the center and an #embedded-center in the West at the same time.

  This is a fascinating one. I think the eye is the main storm, and the other cold cloud might be an interaction with the island's topography

  A vort max would rotate closer to the eye. A separate cyclone would disrupt the hurricane's inflow yet isn't here.

  I think the already well developed hurricane is "ingesting" a predominantly mid level "remnant" circulation from a separate weakened cyclone
