    I think, only a really good visible #eye in the center. Maybe for a second,there was a 'hot spot' from the ocean or from the small landmass.

    Very interesting. I am not familiar with that feature to the east of the eye. Is this near Australia?

    If you look at the storm page you may see a hot band developped east of the eye on previous images...

    It could have been a structure heading to an eye but aborted? I'm not a specialist about meteo!
